Music Camp

Music Camp is a two-week camp that runs from Monday to Friday, July 7-18, 2025. We offer various music experiences based on age, ability, and interest.

For our younger campers, we offer an early childhood music experience - students will explore rhythm, melody, and other elements of music using age appropriate instruments and activities.

Campers who are born in 2016/entering grade 4 and older will participate in our instrumental program (woodwinds, brass, or percussion) and will learn and play together as an ensemble. There are also fun electives offered throughout the day, which campers can select for themselves, including sports, games, crafts, and other non-band instruments. 

 

Who - Campers must be 4 years old or older by the start of camp

 

When - Program will run daily from 9am to 4pm, with drop off beginning at 8:45.

 

Cost - The early registration rate for two full weeks of camp is $400. After May 1st, the fee is $450.

FAQs

 

What electives are available?

On the first day of camp, campers will have the opportunity to select their own electives that are of interest to them. The elective offerings change each year, but in the past, they have included board games, nature club, sports, crafts, and other instrumental learning (ukulele, handbells). 

 

Is Music Camp a Christian Camp?

While Music Camp is run at Christ First United Church, the programming offered is not religious. We welcome people of any faith tradition. 

 

Are snacks provided?

There will be no snacks or lunch provided by our team. Campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch and snacks each day, as well as a refillable water bottle. Please be mindful that we have campers with allergies, so please do not bring any food with peanuts or tree nuts. 

 

Will there be a camp concert?

At the end of our two weeks together, our campers will showcase all their hard work in a Camp Concert! All family and friends are invited to watch!
