Church Camp

Church Camp is a one-week, half day camp that runs from Tuesday August 5th to Friday August 8th, 2025. Throughout the week, we will engage in lessons and conversation that is rooted in the inclusive and progressive theology of The United Church of Canada. Our theme this year is The Lost World! We will explore the Three Stories of Lost Things from the Gospel of Luke - a sheep, a coin, and a son (all while celebrating our favourite dinosaurs!)

 

Who - Campers must be between the ages of 4 and 12 years old by the start of camp.

 

When - Program will run daily from 9am to 12:30pm, with drop off beginning at 8:45.

 

Cost - There is a $25 fee for each camper for the whole week.

FAQs

 

What are the ages for campers?

Campers must be between the ages of 4 and 12 years old by the start of camp. Students over the age of 12 are welcome to join us in an LIT (Leaders In Training) role! They can earn high school volunteer hours while assisting our leaders with camp programming. 

 

Are snacks provided?

There will be a peanut and tree nut free snack provided each morning. Campers are responsible for bringing their own refillable water bottle. 

 

Is Church Camp Affirming?

Yes! We wholeheartedly believe in the ultimate teaching of Jesus - love. We emphasize creating a safe, supportive, inclusive, and welcoming space for all, especially for our friends in the LGBTQ+ community.
