No matter our age and stage, in life and in faith, we can find strength in the power of community. At Christ First, through our Ministry Team and our Congregational Support Committee, we will do all that we can to support you and your loved ones, throughout life’s beautiful, often complicated journey.
We believe in the comfort and transformation that comes as a community at prayer. Whether for yourself or someone in your life circle, we welcome your prayer requests. We honour confidentiality within our Ministry Team and Prayer Group, and also ask that any concerns for others are shared with their permission.
Prayer requests can be left at any time directly with Rev. Heather, by phone or email, or through our confidential Prayer Request form. We follow your lead and needs, for all levels of follow-up. We are grateful for your trust and faithful care.

The weekly prayer group will be on a short break through Rev. Heather’s study leave.

Praying Together
With Rev. Heather facilitating, we have a small weekly Prayer Group that gathers online, with the prayer requests before us. Holding up community needs as offered, we come together for quiet check-in, Scripture reading, and prayers.
If you would like to join with the group, please contact the Office (office@christfirst.ca) for the Zoom link, taking you to the meeting each Wednesday at 1pm. No RSVP required, but please contact Heather with any questions.
We’re the kind of place that never checks membership at the door. If you are reading this, you’re part of the family already.
We also know that it’s a long time since we’ve had a service to more formally welcome anyone wishing to transfer membership to this congregation.
If that’s you, please reach out by Sunday, October 29 to Rev. Heather or Ashley, by phone or email, to express interest and ask for a follow up chat in early November with Heather about what it all means.
We are planning for Sunday November 26, our Anniversary Sunday, to include a time to celebrate New Members by Transfer – and we can’t wait.
